Oak is a hard wood, making it particularly suitable for cutting. Indeed, oak wood preserves knives, limits scratches and therefore microbial development. The wood is also naturally antibacterial, thanks to its natural properties and tannic acids.

It favors the use of natural materials from our regions: sustainably managed wood (PEFC* certification) sourced mainly from Jura forests, recycled paper and packaging, natural oil treatments, water-based glues, and so on. To assemble its creations, Reine Mère also develops partnerships with ESAT (Entreprises et services d'aide par le travail).
