Carefully selected from the wood, the corks have concentric rings. These real knots make the repair as unobtrusive as possible. No more breaks in the direction of the wood fibres.
The corks are made of untreated wood and can therefore be varnished, decorated or painted. They are smooth and chamfered on one side. Perfect for totally invisible repairs.

How to repair a wooden board with an unsightly knot or hole?
- If the knot is still in place, use a wood bit the diameter of the plug to create a perfectly round hole.
- Use sanding paper, either on the plug or on the hole, to make the plug very slightly larger than the hole in the wood. Test it and make sure the plug is flush with the surface of the board.
- Apply wood glue to the hole and plug.
- Insert the plug in the direction of the wood, tapping lightly with a hammer.
- If necessary, tighten the plug with a clamp to hold the assembly in place while the glue dries. Leave to dry for at least 24 hours.
- Sand the plug and wood with a fine abrasive to even out the surface of the board.
- Apply a wood finish (optional), such as oil or varnish.
