The chess pendulum restores the balance of thinking time. Two chronometers on either side can be activated one after the other by means of a toggle mechanism. Each chess player who makes a move then stops his chronometer by pressing his button. This starts the clock and the opponent's thinking time.

The Aradora chess timer keeps track of each player's thinking time. It can also be used to play blitz games (a blitz game is a chess game where the playing time must not exceed a set time, e.g. 10 minutes)

Each clock is fitted with a red toggle switch for the last 5 minutes of play.

This clock can also be used for 2-player games such as checkers.

Dimensions of beechwood chess timer: 235 x 175 x 95 mm

Chess is considered one of the world's oldest strategy games. It is presumed that chess was invented 4,000 years ago in India and Persia, and then spread throughout the world. Modern chess, as we know it today, is around 2,000 years old. It is one of the world's most popular games.

Chess is an exciting game of strategy for two people. It is played with a black-and-white 8x8-square board and wooden pieces. The design of wooden chess pieces is now codified and approved by the International Chess Federation. The Staunton design is the most widespread: conceived by Nathaniel Cooke and approved by English chess player Howard Staunton in 1849.

Although the aim of chess is simple (to check the king), it is also highly complex and subtle.
