Barrels are used to preserve, mature or age alcoholic beverages.
This 10-liter oak barrel is handcrafted from European oak, following ancient traditions. The galvanized barrel hoops are also assembled and fitted by hand. The wooden stand, stopper and tap are sold with the barrel and included in every delivery.

Oak barrels are ideal for storing red wine, white wine, liqueur, schnapps or essences. If you want to add aromas to your craft beverages, we recommend buying new oak barrels. The wood of old barrels releases few aromatic components into the wine.
However, we do not recommend filling our barrels with vinegar, soft drinks or spirits over 50%.
The solid oak barrel is waterproofed and treated on the inside with a food-grade, alcohol-resistant kerosene wax film. The exterior wood is untreated.
